Adviser firms can self-register to use the ULoA Service. Registration has been integrated with the Login process. When someone attempts to log on and their firm is not yet registered, they will be prompted to complete registration.
The process is straightforward but should be completed by someone sufficiently senior within the firm. The individual selected must have a Unipass Identity but they do not need to be the Unipass Controller for the firm. They will also be their firm’s first ULoA user and will be assigned Administrator privileges during the setup process. Although they will be assigned administrator privileges during registration, they do not need to continue to perform day-to-day administration as the “Administrator” role can be assigned to one or more of the of other staff they add to the system.
Registration for ULoA does not require any explicit review or acceptance of Terms & Conditions as these are already covered as part of the organisation’s Unipass contract.
